Fr. Philip's Story
I write this from Puerto Maldonado, Peru which border with Brazil and Bolivia in the Amazon jungle. I was born in Peru and moved to the U.S. in 1965. Graduated from W.J. in 1978. I planned to get married with a wonderful girl from Colombia but God had other plans. I had a BIG conversion experience with Jesus Christ in 1980 and from then on I knew He loved me deeply; died from me; and that He had a plan for my life. In 1982 while on retreat with my then finance I was called to leave everything and follow Him. mily of Jesus. Our mission is to evangelize,heal, and teach families how to live as a family. My community is the best family I have ever had.
I am now a Catholic priest for almost 25 years and so blessed. In 2003 after living in Peru for 3 months I was kidnapped and almost executed. Life since graduating from W.J. has been nothing I would have chosen or wanted on graduation day in 1978 but I am so blessed! I am interested in talking through e-mail with any one of the 1978 class.
